The Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law is one of the structural subdivisions of the School of Law of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, which conducts pedagogical, methodological, scientific and educational work on training specialists in the specialties 081 “Law”, 293 “International Law”, as well as inter-faculty elective courses.
Since the formation of the Department it is headed by PhD in Law, Associate Professor Mark M. Voronov.
The scientific activity of the Department is carried out in such priority areas as: ways to improve the mechanism of ensuring human and civil rights and freedoms; problems in the implementation of constitutional and municipal reforms in Ukraine.
The Department has a high staff potential, which includes 10 specialists, including 1 Doctor of Law and 9 PhD in Law.
The Department provides teaching of a number of basic disciplines and special courses of constitutional and municipal law to undergraduate (bachelor) and graduate (master) students of the School of Law full-time and part-time, as well as students of other schools of the University during the teaching of inter-faculty disciplines.
